Experience our fragrant Veg Biryani, a celebration of Indian culinary heritage at Indian Spoon Restaurant. Featuring fresh vegetables layered with aromatic basmati rice and traditional Indian spices. Slow-cooked to perfection using the traditional dum method, this biryani is garnished with fried onions, mint, and served with raita. A true celebration of Indian culinary heritage.
Veg Biryani is one of India's most celebrated rice dishes and a signature specialty at Indian Spoon Restaurant. Our authentic recipe begins with premium basmati rice, known for its long, fragrant grains, which we carefully wash and soak to achieve the perfect texture. The fresh vegetables are marinated in a blend of aromatic spices including ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, and our special biryani masala, ensuring maximum flavor penetration.
We prepare our Veg Biryani using the traditional dum method, where the marinated vegetables and partially cooked rice are layered in a heavy-bottomed pot with whole spices, fried onions, mint, and coriander leaves. The pot is then sealed and slow-cooked over low heat, allowing the flavors to meld together perfectly. The result is a fragrant, flavorful biryani where each grain of rice is infused with the essence of the spices and the fresh vegetables. This dish is typically served with raita (yogurt sauce) and is perfect for special occasions.
